At your door
It asks you. It begs you.
“Take heed.”
Gently it says,
“I am here”
A passing thought.
It may be loudly asking attention.
It may be quietly begging for recognition.
It may be silent.
If ignored the moment fades.
If acted upon, life begins.
An opportunity knocks.

The back story:
An opportunity to go to Europe in 2008 brought me to this place. Setting up my workspace for the day, I discovered a lovely view of Tonisvorst. The church “Sankt Godehard” peeked over the rooftops of the homes and storefronts. A yellow car in the foreground, the local pizza delivery vehicle. Bikers, shoppers and children passed by, oblivious to the colors, structure and vibrancy this scene presented. The foot traffic curiously glanced my way. What was this Artist creating? The lady in pink” poses at the crosswalk.
