2016...a very special year, a very special series...a fresh new focus on the figure, ballet and relationships. Movement, dramatic light, and color, combined with hope, romance and tragedy pulls at emotions and highlights the beauty of human existence. The Art of Ballet offers those who dare to tune in, a chance to acknowledge our own emotions and face the joys and heartaches of life itself. In all of us there is a deep desire to express our joy and sadness, our love and angst. My goal is to create 100 paintings and 12 sculptures with the ballet theme, utilizing Digital Art, Traditional and Non-Traditional Painting and Drawing techniques, and Sculptures in wire, concrete, wax, Bronze, Clay and mixed medium
