Behind every successful art project is a network of generous supporters—and today I’m thrilled to highlight one of them: Sherwin-Williams of Fallbrook.

As I began the underpainting for the Miss Mary Piano Project, the Sherwin-Williams team stepped up with a generous donation of multiple pints of high-quality paint, along with brushes, paint containers, and guidance on the best tools for the job.

This incredible support came directly from:

    •    Daniel Dykstra, Store Manager

    •    Giovanny Paniagua, Store Associate

Both gentlemen took the time to walk me through product choices, helping me select the right finishes, surfaces, and techniques to ensure the piano comes to life with durability and vibrance.

I’m deeply grateful for businesses like Sherwin-Williams who support the arts locally—with not only materials, but heart.

Thank you, Daniel and Giovanny, for helping give Miss Mary her first bold strokes of life.

With appreciation,

B.J. Lane
