Miss Mary’s Diary – Entry #1: “Unexpected Happenings”
We often say, “If these walls could talk…”
Well—this piano can.
Introducing something a little magical: Miss Mary’s Diary, a series of reflections from the perspective of the piano itself.
Her spirit, her story, and her sense of humor are alive in this project. With each brushstroke and transformation, she has something to say.
Today, she writes from her new studio home in Fallbrook, reflecting on the twists of fate that led her here—from Eternal Hills to the Sunshine Brooks Theatre. It’s a touching and whimsical peek into the soul of this instrument.
“I was in an urn at Eternal Hills… but now my spirit has been transported.”
“It is all quite exciting! Especially for a workaholic woman who grew up poor in an age of pin curls and scarves.”
This is just the beginning.
