Behind every brushstroke is a story—and a helping hand.
As the Miss Mary Piano Project continues to unfold, I’m filled with immense gratitude for the incredible individuals who have stepped into my studio, offering their time, creativity, and open hearts.
This project isn’t just about one artist—it’s about the collective spirit of a community coming together to bring art to life.

Today, I want to highlight a very special collaborator: Aishwarya Niraula
“Painting took me down a path of self-discovery a few years ago and I haven’t been able to put the paintbrush down since. I’m always trying to learn new techniques and better myself as an artist. When I met Ms. Lane at one of the Oceanside Museum of Art, Artist Alliance events, I loved her enthusiastic spirit. After one of the events, she asked if I wanted to help her out with this project and I immediately said yes. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience, and I was extremely grateful to have the opportunity to work with her. It’s been such a pleasure helping her bring her vision to life for Miss Mary’s piano project.”
Aishwarya’s talent, enthusiasm, and dedication have brought so much joy into the studio. Her support has been invaluable—not only as a helper, but as a fellow artist with a voice and vision of her own.
Please take a moment to visit her work and show her some love:
To all who are contributing—thank you. You’re painting more than a piano. You’re painting connection, collaboration, and community.
With heartfelt appreciation,
B.J. Lane
