Friday’s here. It’s been a long week.
There’s something missing that I seek.
I’ve worked and worked. I’ve labored true.
I’ve done my best. A rest is due.
Let’s go out. Let’s have some fun.
Now that Friday night has come.
A show? Some music? Out to eat?
I just need to rest my feet.
Soup sounds good and salad too!
Let’s go eat out just me and you.

The backstory:
This piece was created on my iPad with a digital painting program. Many a date night has been shared with my iPad. Besides the little pocket sketchbook I carry faithfully with me, when I grab my iPad before heading out the door, it finds its way into my artful world.
