Today marks a major milestone in the Miss Mary piano project—the delivery of the piano itself! With great care and a bit of muscle, this beautiful upright was transported to my studio, where the transformation begins.

But this wasn’t just any delivery—this moment was magic. As soon as the piano was placed in the room, our incredible piano mover sat down and played a tune. It was spontaneous. Joyful. Exactly the spirit this piano is meant to carry into the world.

Miss Mary is now in place—her keys ready to sing, her surface ready to be painted, and her purpose just beginning to unfold.

This moment reminded me why this work matters: art lives in the moments we share—in music played by surprise, in laughter between strangers, in the sound of piano notes echoing off studio walls.
