Today was another productive day in the studio. I focused on applying the final coat of paint to the piano’s sliding key cover and began preparations to embellish the legs of Miss Mary with delicate, flowing designs. These last ten days are all about the details—refining each panel and bringing the entire design into harmony before the paint must sit and cure for delivery.
This week, I’m also thrilled to share that the Fallbrook chapter of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) has stepped forward in support of this project. Some of their members have contributed to the campaign, and they’re even planning to publish a piece in their local news about the piano project. I am so deeply touched by their generosity and encouragement.
Whether you’ve sent kind words, shared a post, donated, or simply followed the journey—thank you. Your support fuels the finish. This piano is more than just an art object. It’s a symbol of connection. In a time when many feel divided or uncertain, Miss Mary brings color, creativity, and community into one joyful experience. Fill your life with Artful Joy.❤️
