The backstory:
This piece was created on an iPad at a favorite restaurant. After completing my meal, my eyes wandered across the vast open room. Though strangers to me, I saw friends, business associates, families and singles—all partaking in the feast. Who would be the subject of my sketch tonight?
A little girl blew into the soup as she waited for it to cool. The mother sat beside her patiently, closely watching her subject. Could the young child resist the temptation to take a bite of the hot steaming soup?
Without hesitation I grabbed my iPad. Capturing a teachable moment.
