The Backstory:

Chin Siu Dek (Jimmy H. Woo), was the man responsible for bringing Kung Fu San Soo to America. His story was told through this portrait and an 8-piece mural depicting history of this form self defense. Both the portrait and mural were publicly displayed for several years in the Kung Fu San Soo Studio in Monrovia, California, under the watchful eyes of Master Sifu Tony Horton.

True masters, Jimmy Woo and Sifu Tony Horton’s life journeys are still held in high regard. Not only did they teach the art of Kung Fu San Soo, they cared deeply about their students and their student’s lives. May they both rest in peace.
