We spent some time together
Remembering yesterday.
We talked about good times we had.
We shared our hopes and dreams.
We ate, we drank, we had some fun.
Time went by quick, it seems.
Although tomorrow you’ll be gone
And headed on your way,
It’s been so good to have you here
To share this special day.
Let us not forget each other.
Let’s remember friendship true.
This life is to connect and share.
