The backstory:
This classic was parked on a side-street (near an annual car show), in Seal Beach California. I hadn’t yet reached the event and suddenly whipped out my camera to catch this sweetie. Later in my studio I painted this portrait. It wasn’t until months later I discovered this was the same model my dad had owned as a young adult. He then shared stories of his youth. Sweet memories.
