Tick, tick, tock, tock.
When is it time to play?
I worked and worked, but where’s the Art?
I need some Art today!
I swept the house, I fed the kid.
We did the dishes too.
The dog needs fed. Let out the cat
There’s such a lot to do!
When can I find the time to paint?
It is already noon.
I need to paint or sculpt some art.
It will be dark real soon.
Ideas gather in my mind.
I hear creativity call.
I grab my pencil and my pad.
The Art’s between it all.

The backstory:
Between all the moments , frustrations, joys, and busy lifestyle of day-to-day living, for a working Artist, there is an ongoing, urgent need to create. It’s not just a quiet urge, but a building of internal momentum that drives us—the Artist—into another realm of consciousness. Sometimes it interferes with life. Sometimes it become life. And sometimes when we are lucky it is intertwined in daily moments.
After all ... it’s a beautiful life!
