The backstory:
Yesterday I started a new “plein air” piece. A historic building in Fallbrook—a little red schoolhouse. A special friend, and photographer caught up with me. Here I am mentally calculating where I will place what, on the canvas. The bright morning sun was eventually subdued by an umbrella tied to my easel with bungee cords.
