The backstory:
Under a shade tree I created this piece honoring one of the world's renowned independent research libraries. According to The Huntington Library’s Website: “The Huntington Library in San Marino houses some 11 million items that span the 11th to 21st centuries. Among these objects are 8 million manuscripts and 440,000 rare books ...”
What better place to visit for appreciating the history of written language ... and for capturing a house of language in a work of Art.
