"On a day trip, I found myself riding down the avenues of Amsterdam. My eyes opened wide as I viewed the depth, perspective, and texture of the narrow side streets where lines of abandoned bikes on the pathway sat ready for use. The vehicle in the distant was the only moving parts of the scene. From hundreds of shots of scenes such as this one, I began capturing the feeling of this special place. The pathway waits patiently for other inhabitants to discover it."
