"Campin'Out" Oil on canvas, 12"x 12" ©2011 Bjlane As a kid, I always looked forward to summer––no school, sleeping in, swimming pools, and books. But there was one activity that stands out in my memory. It was something that the whole family looked forward to with great anticipation. The family camping trip–– four kids and two adults piled into a V.W. Microbus, heading out of the hot, crowded city––with sleeping bags, lanterns, ices chests, toilet paper, and canned food. The
